Every LappyBooks product page states the item's condition. This guide explains what our condition label means and how we prepare our laptops, so you know what to expect before you order.

Who tests and prepares our laptops

LappyBooks is the trading name of Muhammad Usman Ramzan Electronics Trading LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. All inspection, testing, cleaning and preparation of our renewed laptops is carried out by LappyBooks, not by the original manufacturer.

LappyBooks is an independent reseller. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Apple, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Samsung, MSI, Razer, Gigabyte, LG, Google, Fujitsu or any other brand we sell. Brand and product names are used only to identify the products and remain the property of their owners.

Renewed

LappyBooks uses the label "Renewed" for all of its tested pre-owned laptops. A renewed laptop is a previously used laptop that LappyBooks has inspected, tested, cleaned and prepared for resale, and that is ready to use.

How we check laptops before dispatch

Every LappyBooks laptop is inspected, tested and cleaned before dispatch. We check:

  • Battery
  • Display
  • Keyboard
  • Ports
  • Wireless connectivity
  • Camera
  • Speakers
  • General performance
  • Battery health: every renewed laptop has a minimum battery health of 80%.
  • Software: Windows is freshly installed on every Windows laptop before dispatch.

Warranty

Eligible laptops sold by LappyBooks include a six-month warranty beginning on the delivery date. It covers technical or hardware faults that occur during normal use. A battery is covered when it stops working completely.

The warranty does not cover reduced battery runtime or normal battery degradation, a physically broken or damaged laptop, cracked screens, broken casing or damaged ports, short-circuit damage, liquid damage, damage caused by misuse, accidents or improper handling, or damage caused after delivery.

Warranty claims are subject to inspection by LappyBooks. For warranty repairs, the customer pays the shipping cost, and repairs take 3–5 days. See our Warranty Policy.

Returns

You can request a return within 7 calendar days after receiving your order. The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered, with its original packaging, supplied accessories and proof of purchase. Please contact us before sending anything back. Customers arrange and pay for return shipping, and there is no restocking fee. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 days after we receive and inspect the returned product. See our Refund Policy.
