These Terms of Service apply when you visit lappybooks.com, communicate with LappyBooks, or purchase products from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

  1. PRODUCTS AND CONDITION

LappyBooks sells laptops, accessories and related technology products. Products may be renewed, refurbished, pre-owned or brand new, as stated on the applicable product page.

Renewed and refurbished products may show reasonable signs of previous use. We aim to describe each product’s model, specifications, condition and included accessories accurately. Product photographs may be illustrative, and screen colours may appear differently depending on the customer’s device.

Customers should review the complete product description before placing an order.

  1. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in UAE dirhams unless stated otherwise. Applicable delivery charges, taxes or other charges will be shown before an order is completed.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. If a third-party payment or instalment provider is selected, that provider’s separate terms may also apply.

We may correct genuine pricing, description or availability errors. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer before proceeding.

  1. ORDERS

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. An order is accepted after LappyBooks confirms it and the required payment or payment authorisation has been received.

We may contact the customer if additional information is required to verify or fulfil an order. Customers must provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate solution, which may include an alternative product or a refund.

  1. DELIVERY

LappyBooks delivers throughout the United Arab Emirates.

Estimated delivery is 2–3 working days after order confirmation. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by product availability, the customer’s location, public holidays, weekends or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete delivery address and a working telephone number. Please review our Shipping Policy for complete details.

  1. INSPECTION AFTER DELIVERY

Customers should inspect their order promptly after delivery. If a product is incorrect, damaged, incomplete or defective, contact LappyBooks as soon as possible with the order details and a clear description of the issue.

  1. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Eligible return requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days after delivery.

Returned products must meet the conditions stated in our Refund Policy, including being returned in the same condition in which they were delivered, with their supplied accessories, original packaging and proof of purchase.

Products damaged after delivery through physical damage, liquid damage, short-circuit damage, accidents, misuse or improper handling may not qualify for return.

Do not return a product before contacting LappyBooks and receiving return instructions. Please review our Refund Policy for complete conditions.

  1. WARRANTY

Eligible laptops include a six-month warranty beginning on the delivery date.

The warranty covers qualifying technical or hardware faults occurring during normal use. A battery is covered when it stops working completely.

The warranty does not cover normal battery degradation or reduced runtime, physical damage, cracked screens, damaged casing or ports, short-circuit damage, liquid damage, accidents, misuse, improper handling or damage caused after delivery.

  1. WEBSITE USE

You may use this website only for lawful shopping and informational purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent orders or use the website in a way that violates applicable law.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The LappyBooks name, website design, written content, graphics and other original materials belong to LappyBooks or their respective rights holders. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit this content without appropriate permission.

Product names and trademarks belonging to manufacturers or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website may use services provided by Shopify, payment providers, delivery partners and other third parties. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

LappyBooks is not responsible for independent third-party websites that may be linked from our website.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LappyBooks will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the website or products.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or customer rights where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable UAE law.

  1. PRIVACY

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements. Customers should review the Privacy Policy to understand how their information is collected, used and shared.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes to our products, services, operations or legal requirements. The latest version will be published on this website with an updated revision date.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be handled by the competent authorities or courts in the United Arab Emirates, subject to applicable consumer-protection rights.
